In Kobarid, follow the direction of Drežnica, cross the Soča River across the Napoleon Bridge on the Soča River, turn right, slightly ascend the road and park in the parking lot along the road. From the parking lot, continue on foot along the macadam path, first across the beautiful meadow, on the left you will pass the Camp Koren Kobarid. The forest path begins behind the meadow, with beautiful views of the Soca River, which winds just below the path. Along the way you will also be able to peek into WWII bunkers. Along the way you will pass the Soca footbridge, where you can admire the colors of the emerald river. The path through the forest first leads us across the bridge to Mali Kozjak, from here access to Veliki Kozjak begins. The trail will lead you several times along stones and cute bridges across the stream.
